You won't believe how well last Wednesday went, although they only filmed the disco lights everyone was impressed, by the time they put the sound on this show will be up there with Glee.
Oh I almost forgot the DG has summoned me back this Monday to appear in the next episode, so new location and another chance to see how wonderful the Steve Kaye Disco is. It won’t be long till I get a speaking part.

The DG has been in touch and has asked if I could appear in the filming of yet another BBC programme of course I said yes. Filming Wednesday 26 January 20011 no further details can be released at the moment.

Although the day previous was setup day ready for a 8.30am start on Wednesday, the Tuesday  began with appalling road conditions which were testing at 7.30am on the way to the location. Wednesday seen the arrival of everyone and everything, this was the day of filming. Although not being the leading actor or actually having any lines, my face may have been caught on camera at some point. We were told the sequence shot that day would be shown as a 6 minuet slot in one 45 minuet episode, quite possible as it took 1 hr to shoot seconds of dialog, a brilliant day with the crew, actors and background people best of all the meals on wheels truck turned up (Film Cuisine). By the way the reason for me being there was to look after the disco and lighting (part of the script) so early this year (2011) sees the appearance of Steve Kaye and the Steve Kaye Disco featured on the BBC, of course I will make sure I get a clip for the website and revise my charges/fees accordingly.
